Rossi B & Luca are bastions of bass. Longtime DJs with productions spanning UK garage, dubstep and grime, the duo has released music on their own Heavy Artillery label and a host of others, as well as mixed it up hard for everyone from Rinse FM to the Ministry of Sound. This is their first foray into Funky. "E10 Riddim" perfectly merges grime's spiky, aggressive energy with house's slinkier, body-shaking rhythms. With supple, rolling drum samples keeping it full of energy, the track is a perfect blur of fierce dread and upbeat energy. The B-side features Killa P from Roll Deep, known best for his MC work alongside Flowdan on The Bug's classic "Skeng." He's renamed the track "Police Ar Come Run" and in his stentorian patois delivers some vicious verses over the original riddim.
