It‘s no secret that the Salsa’s main ingredients comes mostly from Cuban music called Son. Rooted in many different genres, Salsa was born in New York. Along with traditional ways, Salsa incorporated jazz and other genres from the Caribbean and Latin America. All this brought about a music called Timba. In the nineties Mi Salsa Tiene Sandunga defined the Cuban way to make “salsa”. Son music was flooding the island. The Esencia de Cuba collection includes the best of music of this time. All the varieties of styles are used on Mi Salsa Tiene Sandunga, which, without a doubt, is an invitation to dance. (STREET DATE - 1/18/2011)
