“Their soundtrack to this French film sounds like instrumental out takes from Daydream Nation.
”Doyle
“A sampling of Sonny's 100 Records Project, wherein he wrote 200 songs for 100 conceptual 7"s and enlisted the help of his friends for the artwork and music. Guests include Kelley Stoltz, Ty Segall, the Sandwitches, Tim Cohen, Donovan Quinn, etc.

“Sounds a little less like Syd Barrett and more like the Byrds underwater this time around.
”Doyle
“39 Clocks guy's loner jams un-earthed from the mid-90's, very cool.
”Doyle

“Eleven dark n' dirgey pop songs —as bleakly monotonous as they are catchy— that hint at both the wrong-chorded clang of Pussy Galore and the black-and-white paste-on mystery of the Xpressway and early Siltbreeze catalogs. Downer pop at its best—uncomfortable, unsound, and immediately satisfying.

Doyle
“The vocals are more upfront and it's even better than the first LP! Streets 10/26/10.
”Doyle
“Like an acid freakout jammed-out Brainbombs.
”Monday, August 23rd
Doyle
“Good, ambient and soundtrack-y with minimal vocals.
”Doyle
“Great 1972 post-Bossanova Brazilian pop. He, along with Milton Nasciemento, was a member of the Clube de Esquina musical movement that rivaled the brilliance of Tropicalia.
”Doyle
“Doo wop beach pop, with members of Citay, Fresh & Onlys & Skygreen Leopards.
”Wednesday, August 11th
Cristian
“More spectacular adventures into the music of our world by the increasingly reliable Soundway record label.
”Cristian
“Mr. Spaceman loses his girlfriend to a member of a lesser band and delivers his masterpiece. Strange that someone would pick OK Computer over this.

”Thursday, August 5th

“Great pop record with smart, wacky vocals, a little like a punkier Dinosaur Jr. without the solos.
”Wednesday, August 4th
Doyle
“Solo record from one of the Skygreen Leopards... For fans of Skip Spence, Cass McCombs and the Papercuts.
”Friday, July 30th
Doyle
“Awesome Finnish "Krautrock" from Annie's producer(?). Kind of an Electronicat vibe at times.

Dave
“The original description makes this record sound like some frustrating experiment in dada oddness (lyrics from instruction manuals? CAH-way-ZEE!), but when the needle drops, nothing sounds forced or strained. A really natural, serene, lovely record that is a little strange in its arrangement but not at all distracting with its eccentricities.
”Tuesday, July 20th
Doyle
“Finally got this one back; I think it's their best release yet.
”Doyle
“Byrds-y with moments of boogie rock.
”Doyle
“The weirdest of the batch of Minimal Wave releases we got in, and also the best.
”Thursday, July 15th
Paul
“In keeping with the spirit of the original work: gives "disorienting" a good name.
”Wednesday, July 14th

“You'd never guess Jana Hunter is the mastermind behind this band -- the jump into mid 80s UK-meets-LA is quite a shock, but it's also a completely successful shift. Shades of 4AD can be found, but this fantastic record comes off most like a lost Opal record, all the while retaining Hunter's oblique lyrical turns. Great rewards come from great risks, or something.
